Continuing with our minibeasts theme, this week we looked at slugs and snails. We made snail pictures and some snails made from biscuits! We made a slug restaurant using fruit cuttings from our snack and looked at the trails that slugs and snails leave behind. Our chrysalises are still hanging in the butterfly house we are hoping we will soon have butterflies to release.
Our Quiz Night raised just over £200. Special thanks to Neil Johnson Hair Salon, Station Square, Petts Wood 01689 822455 who kindly donated to our raffle.
A massive thank you to Coolings Garden Centre who donated 4 large bags of compost for our planter, the winter pansies are in full flower and the daffodils are in bloom!
